This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.

They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

To attend the class, you MUST have the following PPE available prior to the beginning of the class.

PPE is available for sale through the hardware warehouses (such as Bunning or RSEA).

Please note that PPE must meet Australian Standards (refer to below list for standards and examples)

1. Head Protection (hard hat) (AS/NZS 1801 Occupational protective helmets) See Bunnings UniSafe Yellow Type 1 ABS Safety Helmet.

2. Eye Protection (AS 1337.1 Personal eye protection, Eye and face protectors for occupational applications) See Bunnings Eye Shileds Safety Glasses.

3. Hearing Protection (AS/NZS 1270 Acoustics – Hearing protectors) See Bunnings 3M Disposable Ear Plugs.

4. High visibility reflective vest (AS/NZS 4602.1 High visibility safety garments class day/night and AS/NZS 1906.4 – Retro reflective materials & High Visibility materials for safety garments) See Bunnings UniSafe Large Orange Hi-Vis Day / Night Safety Vest.

3. USI ( Unique Student Identifier)

From 1 January 2015, every student who undertakes nationally recognized Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Australia is required to have a USI.

STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT CANNOT BE ISSUED if a participant fails to produce a valid USI number.

Course Entry Requirements:

• Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
or
• Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.

Additional entry requirements

• Student must have access to working PC or laptop with a configuration suitable to meet study requirements. Please seek your trainer/assessor assistance in this regard.

• Student must have access to working internet.
 • Are at least at age of 18 on the date of course. commencement.
